Samantha Tulloch was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. where she attended the public schools of New York City and later graduated from Polytechnic Institute of New York University with a BS in Mathematics and a minor in Electrical Engineering.After attending engineering school, Samantha realized that she did not want to be an engineer; at least not in the traditional sense.

Samantha decided that she wanted to engineer the young minds of tomorrow, ensuring that they would be ready for whatever the future may hold. She decided to follow her calling and graduated from the Steinhardt School of New York University with an MA in Math Education. With over 15 years of experience in fields pertaining to education for students ranging from 6-12 grade, she now serves as a Math teacher in Brooklyn, a fellow at Math for America (MfA) and an Adjunct Mathematics Lecturer at Baruch College of CUNY.
